True. According to Athelstan, everything is Corrine's fault.

No, more like wow I come to help her, but her first reaction when there is trouble is to sacrifice Athelstan without a blink of an eye lol

Awareness Empathy is not mind reading it's just suspicious, but with no evidence XD your just throwing me under the bus, while already claiming I did something wrong without even knowing 100%

What we have here is a failure to communicate, I expect.

A natural consequence of a bunch of people, some of whom only marginally get along, all of whom are trying to do the same thing with very little oversight. Inevitably, some of us do things that look very shady to others of us, provoking a response.

From our POV, it looked a lot like Big A was trying to pervert the investigation process...distort findings and conceal evidence. Like...a lot.

So it will be very interesting to see how it plays out. Smile

In Corrine's defense, I don't get the sense she's throwing Athelsten under the bus at all. She's trying very hard to reassure the man with the archers that his concerns will be addressed (which is a good thing to do for someone who wishes to prevent 'misunderstandings'). She hasn't joined Baelon in accusing Athelsten yet...but she clearly had some doubts before that Baelon's words ring a chord with.

What do you base that view on, I'm helping Corrine and her guard in the investigation, that is not accurate IC, more like it's Athelstan he might know something he is the bad guy after all.

I base that view on certain elements of our investigation, which I believe will be brought to light very shortly. Smile

And for the record, I'm not saying we're necessarily correct, OOC. Just that what we found really looks...from our limited IC knowledge...like this is what's going on.

Well here is my OOC thought. Maybe the house with targareon blood ties got a shipment of wildfire from daddy and planted it in the bracken mines for their leige Lord's family to claim that the Bracken's were using womd in their shadow war. Is it not the least bit suspicious that the House with targareon ties and a know fued against the longshore bastard's suddenly come up with "
evidence"
that his rival was hiding evidence about the Bracken's use of wildfire

It sounds an awfully lot like a frame job

except the person who actually found it doesn't give a damn particularly about either house

i.e. it wasn't Baelon :;

She's really not throwing him under anything. She's very confused by what is happening, and is asking both Athelstan and Baelon for answers. She's trying to de-escalate, but the results I got from my rolls meant she botched her Warfare, and so perceived suspicious behaviour that may or may not have been correct. In that sense, I'm just playing the character. I can only go on what Reader gave me.

Not to mention, the wildfire wasn't found in the Bracken mine.

...it's kind of complicated if you haven't been privy to the details. Smile Give the tale some time to unfold.

Now with roleplay, though since who he saves is kinda less important as far as I care, I'm leaving it blank.

Only just read this but exactly what I was after. Nice to see how much some of the characters have done already. Smile

And that's without story 2's events!

Becoming a banner house of the Coldbrooks has brought you in to the icy grip of the curse of castle grenward!
