AFK thread

Post by Theomore Tullison on Wed Mar 18, 2015 7:12 pm

So maaaybe it's not needed just yet. But I have at least four pm's to respond to, and I doubt I'll be able to get around to them before Monday due to travels and such. It's more effective to say that I'll respond to pretty much anything sitting in my inbox when I have time again, than to answer each pm separately.

Don't worry about responding to mine unless you feel like it - it's not that important. Very Happy

Not exactly AFK, but Pillars of Eternity is out today!

Good news: I'm off work Monday and Friday.

Bad news: I might be a little slow getting back to messages/posts. Remember to harass me via PM if I'm slow (day late or so).

Everyone - remember to help out by posting your character sheet, background, answers to key questions and personal objective to your private forum.

Sorry about limited posting over the weekend - it was my birthday and then I had a card game tourney. I'm sure you'll all be delighted to know I came 2nd - this means I'm in a good mood and you won't all be killed by faceless men.

Working through backlog now, PM if you think I've missed something. Smile

I saw this review. Beyond a fully fleshed-out world with an enriching history and story, it sounds like there's something to love and something to hate - for each player. I'll probably pick this up, but I hope they work out some of the kinks.

Thanks for all the kind wishes everyone.

The card game was Doomtown: Reloaded.

Hey everyone! This isn't so much an "
away from keyboard"
post as an "
things are moving really slowly at my end"
post. Apparently, being on parental leave with an infant eats up most of your free time and wears you out mentally, so that even when you do have time to work on your character, your brain just sort of dries up. Who knew?! Razz

Anyway, I'll be doing my best to be ready for April 4th, but it's possible I'll be a bit late to the party. I really would have liked to make a grand entrance in the prologue thread for the tourney, but that will require a minor miracle...

The soft start date happens to fall on a weekend full of family activities, so I may be tardy to the party as well. I imagine it'll happen to us all at some point or another so this will be a useful thread.

Happy Easter. I'm doing Easter stuff. Hanging with my peeps is kind of expected, so I won't be responding for a few hours.

It's the last month of the semester, so I am in crunch mode on more papers than I want to think about right now... I will be posting as much as my procrastination time allows (and probably a bit more than that), but it (likely) won't be as much as it has been.

I will be of course priortizing current &
planned threads/plotline developments, significant events, etc.
However, if there is a character interaction that you really want to have in these first few [in game] days, let me know and I'll try to fit it in Very Happy

Speaking of trouble stirring;
any word yet on the Little Birds?

I was hoping to learn something juicy before having Gwyn go more on the 'offensive' so to speak. Smile

Lots of threads updated and Little birds resolved in your personal forums.

If you need anything, give me a PM.

Queen's arrival and Princess's arrival both updated too.

Was dragged to a party by my (lovely) partner. Will get through lots tomorrow, but just replied to PMs tonight as it's too late to do all your hard work justice.

I've seen enough of these games die to burn-out that I will always suggest that you err on the side of giving yourself time off. Besides, it gives me time to get more homework done... because there will always be more for me to do... Neutral

Sorry for not posting regularly today and yesterday - a friend came back from abroad and we spent a lot of time together catching up.
Will post on all the threads waiting for Dunstan tomorrow.
