[D8, Dream] Alone

It starts as usual, she is inside her small cell. She looks for Ben, but he is not there. What feel like hours pass and no one comes. She screams for them, but no one comes.

The world lays out before her as she spirals through the clouds aback a dragon. She urges the creature down. A need to find her loved ones driving her. Nearing the ground she can make out a burnt out castle, smoke rising throughout. The dragon lands upon the battlements and Ellie can see the carnage clearly. Bodies torn and scorched litter the ruin. Upon the steps to the greathall she finds what she has come for. The charred husks is draped across the smaller burnt form. She screams in horror, but no one comes.

Stepping onto the battlements the castle shifts. Her view now that from a tall tower looking over the corpse litter field of would-be besiegers. A movement far below catches her eyes. Finding the stairs she begins to descend hastily. Running for and running time speeding by. A earth rattling boom jolts her to the hard stone stairs, tearing her flesh. Stone and debris shower down from the upper levels. She can sense the towers demise. Picking herself up she pushes herself down the steps. After an eternity she exits at the towers base as it collapses behind her. She screams out for the source of movement she had seen, but no one comes.

Finally awake she jumps from her bed running out of her tent. Rykk lies upon the ground his throat slit. Other bodies are gruesomely strewn about. She screams out in disbelief, no one comes.
