House Redwain words are Virtue is the safest helmet, and damned if it was not.

"
I best be honest but tactful, he is called the Beast for a reason and I'm sure he can crush me under his horses hoof faster than I can even pull my sword if I'm not careful"

After inquiring about the were about of lord Haigh, and taking some strange looks as most likely no one had never heard of him.

"
I should just say Ereth Frey, they will probably know me then, but what's the point I'm Redwain now damn it"

Ereth finds lord Haigh in thought and mulling over things in his mind, and clearing his throat to bring him back to his solar and catch his attention properly.

"
Lord Haigh Bracken"
a deep vow beyond that he deserves and falling almost into what a lyseni mercenary calls brown nosing "
I am lord Ereth Redwain and I was here to talk to you about Blackbuckle"

"
Nervous and getting a tad thirsty"

"
I assure you is nothing regarding the investigation, just offering some help"

"
What can there be to discuss regarding Blackbuckle beyond the investigation?"
boomed Lord Bracken in frustration. "
All who lay eyes on it can see it for the outrage against gods and men committed by those tree worshipping savages."

I feel like I need a drink already

Letting some breath out before starting "
I'm not here about investigating lord Haigh, I was just here to offer aid for the septry and Blackbuckle, I can bring my engineers for rebuilding, but some people may choose to not stay after... well... this conflict and horrible event's of Blackbuckle"
hoping this would calm the men down at least "
If you want my help to rebuild thing I shall gladly do it if we are to be friends, but the concern I'm bringing now is the smallfolk that are now destitute, starving, and wretched are there any plans for them, because they seem keen to find better life elsewhere, and I can't blame them for it"

Hopefully this ends better than when it started

"
You come here, to my hall and inform me that you're planning to steal my smallfolk?!"

Lord Bracken's mood seems somewhere between fury and incredulity.

"
I don't know whether this is bold or simply lunacy. Perhaps this is some manner of ill-delivered joke?"

The Beast of Bracken regards Ereth darkly, waiting for the other man to back down.

"
No, just saying some will not want to stay after Blackbuckle tragedy, and what are your plans for them. I'm offering my engineers to help rebuild the septry and other places to help with this"
a heavy sight "
My apology if I misunderstood my self lord Haigh, I meant no offense"

Yeah, no plan for the smallfolk yet

"
Your engineers would be of great assistance at the Septry and beyond. We shall set aside this foolishness about my smallfolk. They have been through enough with being uprooted and taken to serve alongside those who worship queer foreign gods. I will hear no more of it."

"
Indeed, I do worship the seven my lord"
stretching a hand "
I'm a bannerman to lord Frey, but that doesn't mean I cannot offer help to another in need"
crossing his arms "
Smallfolk will need to be uprooted, but not out of your domain, just another suitable location you can find for them to settle, hopefully far from Blackbuckle"

"
That is more suitable. Be sure to remember WHY the people must be moved - due to Blackwood's cowardly poisons!"

"
A word of advice - choose your words more carefully in future. Not all are as patient and calm as I,"
said he who was notoriously without patience or calm.

"
I'm sure the investigations will probe such thing and what poison was used lord Haigh, but my concern lies in bringing back stability and strength to another pious man that worships the seven, and the reconstruction of the septry is also a priority"
shrugging his shoulders "
When I have the resources it might give me ideas of how to build one in my lands and hope to count with your aid as well"
vowing slightly to lord Haigh to show him deference and gratitude for listening to him "
I'm happy we understood each other, now may I invite you to have a drink of cider from my lands?"
a charming smile the best one he could muster under such circumstances.

A topic much more to Lord Bracken's liking, a glass of cider to wash away some of the worries from the day's tribunal and the royal arrivals.
