Also Barbara Tarbuck and Bruce DeHaven died the same day as Fisher also, but they are not as famous. They say things happen in a set of 3, so there still might be another relatively famous person to kick the bucket before the years end.

Of course, I do not believe such rubbish, but some people do.

Debbie Reynolds, Carrie Fisher's Mother and a brilliant actress in her own right, died the day after her daughter of a stroke.

Zsa Zsa Gabor's adopted son died in a motorcycle accident on Christmas Day, a few days after his Mother's death.

Things like this do happen because of the seriously traumatic affect of grief.

Statistically, if a teenager commits suicide, two more within the area or at the same school will commit (or attempt) suicide within two weeks of the act.

Clusters of death is not superstition. It's the result of very real physical, psychological and emotional forces.

I can see it if they were close or known each other, but not when it's 3 people that probably aren't even aware of each other or have no real link for such grief or traumatic things to affect them. I do think you are correct when there is a link among such people or the traumatic event.

Debbie Reynolds - Carrrie Fisher's mother and a talented actress herself - passed the day after Carrie. Another great loss to 2016, and a good example of what Nathan was talking about.

But yes, Merry Christmas retroactively to everyone and my sincere apologies for holding up those tourneys ! I guess the new year stuffs can wait for those 6 hours it'll still be over here, so I can make my usual timewarp jokes with it !
