Kevan
I think this was Garret Snow in BitW... but I found it elsewhere.
Probably too young... probably too Jon Snow.
Cropped down this might work (get rid of the pistol, especially). Might be too old, though.
This one's not too bad.
Strangely, my search kept bringing up women, so I grabbed a few - perhaps good for Loreia, if you are interested.

Re: Imageshop
I really like the third one. Not for now, but this could very well be Kevan a few years down the line. Looking older, mimic is hardened from all the slaughter he has seen during the dance. I am holding on to this!
The first two are a bit too 'good looking courtier' and not enough experienced knight
Thanks Baelon!

Stumbled over this one when doing unrelated search. Kinda received a bit of Loreia vibes over it.

Re: Imageshop
After much searching, starting with the third pic Baelon suggested and googling visually similar results(ending up with a different picture used as a reference), I've found two awesome candidates for my portrait, both modeled on the appearance of a character in a book series called "
Throne of Glass"
, by the name of Ansel Briarcliff. I'm mentioning it because I found it intriguing.
Here are the images. Hair's too long, though! What is it with the warrior woman w/long hair profiling? They're so right for her that I'm willing to deal, though. What do you guys think?

I'm leaning heavily towards #2. I might just pick it no matter what you guys say.

Re: Imageshop
I like #2.
#1 could be Thoros and Melissandre's love child.
As for the long hair... having worn heavy metal helmets, padding is a good thing.

I like them both, though the hair looks shorter in the first one, if that helps.

I like #2 better.
And yeah, you'll find 100 pictures of warrior women with long hair for each you find with short hair.

Re: Imageshop
Davain, I found that image you used and I decided to photoshop a facial profile from it. I thought it could benefit from a close-up to give us all a better look at your face. If you don't want to use it, that's fine.
I like the new look, Corrine. You can tell she's gone through a transformation, it fits.

Wow, I just realized what you meant! You make a good point, I think I'm more okay with my new hair length than I was before.Baelon wrote:As for the long hair... having worn heavy metal helmets, padding is a good thing.

Thanks, Loreia! There's a House forum thread going public soon that will reinforce that transformation.

Re: Imageshop
Quite like that for new Gwyn.
My extended, unfortunate absence has led to lots of splendid new art at least. Shows the characters ageing too in most cases!

I have a proverbial shedload of pics to add. I'm hoping to get Ben upgraded to someone more handsome.

Re: Imageshop
I feel a bit like the hair is too much on the pale side based on the image of Gwyn I have in my head, but otherwise it looks fitting.

Yeah, that's bothering me too. I like a yellower shade, otherwise it looks like I'm trying to look Targaryen.

Agree with you two if anyone has the picture editing skills.
Like Gwyn's tone in the Kerry letter review.

Re: Imageshop
Here are a bunch of pictures I've been hoarding. Have at. I would say though that PCs should have a chance to dibs them before we use them for NPCs.

Re: Imageshop
Quite a few good ones, although some of those are in use, Cullen=Theo for example, and I saw Helen Dulver in there, and off the top of my head, Ellie and Tyron Blackwood, too. Cross-checking necessary before grabbing one, but that's generally always the case.

I actually shared the Cullen one because I thought you might like to use it, and sorry for crossover, but it already took me 2 hours to upload, sort, and share those (having to remove the flickr urls manually was a pain), so do please cut me a break.

Re: Imageshop
Grand work Corrine!
I'll go through these and Theomore's old blokes at some point to allocate a bunch of new NPC portraits.
A week for me to do more pressing event/objective tasks and allow PCs to claim pictures seems reasonable.
For example, Hendy, you've got first claim here, or can describe a look and have your splendid fellow PCs suggest a picture from their vaults!

I'll cross-check and remove stuff later. Right now I'm seeing BBCode behind my eyelids and I want a rest from the stuff.
