Looks like my return came a little to late. Beside the technical issue and school, one of the main reasons for my drop out is I really didn't enjoy playing as Davain. Playing a "goody two-shoes" really isn't my forte. Not that I don't relish the challenge, but I feel like I messed up some roleplay elements that alienated Davain. If the game is ending I would gladly join the new game as a character who isn't the head or heir to house, and if the game is continuing I would like to re join as a different character (I will remain a Bartheld to the end).

Hope school is going well, and I enjoyed the contribution you were able to make. Let's see if we can add some darker shades (of bitterness at holding back and remaining disciplined all his life instead of cutting loose?) to Davain in his departure and given him an appropriate send off, as you plotted out int he epilogue thread.

Sorry all - extended delay while I wait for the Doomtown Reloaded Kickstarter to get going. Apologies for the lack of communication and I'll see if I can ever pick this up again in the future. Intentions are to try for something, but lots of demands on my time at the moment.

I'll post an update on my plans before GenCon (which occurs 17-20 August) and hopefully the weekend after as I might have a better idea about the Doomtown Kickstarter by then.

It's been some time since activity dropped, and I thought this had gone out with a sigh, but I'm still interested if there's an active GM who has plans for the game.

Epilogues are still owed, just hadn't expected Kickstarter stuff to be delayed.

Sorry! Aiming to give various players/PCs a decent send-off, nice to have some closure. Post GenCon I should be more available.

I live post GenCon! Doomtown Kickstarter goes live on the 5th of September, so I'll start working on some much delayed epilogue action...

well, if in epilogue would be spot for Mighty Dulver, then of course I would be also interested to see how his story will end.

As noted, the Kickstarter for Doomtown is on Tuesday so I'll be a little busy until then/just after, then it's go time!

well, according to that, I have a question: is it temporary availability of You, Reader, or is it something what may be longer thing? Because seeing how many people are interested and still checking the forum, then maybe... Maybe instead wrapping up with epilogue, just restart the game under Your patronage? Just checking, as not asking that question would be a crime.

I'd love to keep doing this game, it was great fun. However, I am now lead playtester for Doomtown Reloaded and with the pleasant surprise of the huge success of the Kickstarter for the next expansion that is likely to occupy my time for the forseeable future.

That Kickstarter (which I couldn't talk about at the time due to a non disclosure agreement) has now begun and is doing very well, which is good news overall but bad news for this game.

After all the water under the bridge, I do not see us picking up the pieces. I am all up for starting a new game in the same spirit, but that hinges on someone willing and able to run it.

Yeah, a fresh start would be needed I think. That said, I'd be good with starting something new if we had the group for it.

Cheers Gwyn! We're pleasantly surprised by the response. Lots of hard work paying off far more than expected.

I'll look out for any successor campaign, might be able to play or act as an assistant narrator if people would have me.
