Joust: Jon Templeton vs. Average Knights

Ser Jon Templeton made his way to the lanes atop his trusty courser Ghaston. The joust was finally getting underway and Jon had drawn his first opponent. He's on honorable lad though I doubt he'll be much of a challenge. Ser Jon chastised himself for his arrogance, I'm sure the more able jousters say the same about you. With armor polished and tabard unblemished Ser Jon saluted his opponent and waved to the crowd before the signal was given.

Ser Tylar's lance exploded harmlessly on Ser Jon's shield while Jon's lance struck true causing the knight to fly from his horse. The fall was an ugly one and Ser Tylar laid motionless on the ground. Attendants ran to the unmoving knight and removed his helm. He was breathing but completely unconscious. Ser Jon sat atop his horse at the end of the lane and stared. The Warrior protects.

Ser Jon rode out to meet his next opponent Ser Cedric Ryswell. Taking a lance, he dipped it to his opponent in respect. Interesting, a northman. Don't see many south of the Neck. The origins of the knight aside, Ser Jon prepared for the charge.

Ser Cedric fared no better than Jon's first opponent. As the two came together the lance of Ser Cedric glanced off Jon's shield while Ser Jon's lance exploded against Cedric's shield causing him to rock backwards and perform an awkward somersault off his horse.

The attendants rushed out to carry/drag the northman away. Now the competition becomes harder...
