Joust: Ser Alfred vs Average Knights

Well, I created my own thread to declare maneuvers in my character forum. That seems like the way to go, as you may be matched against a fellow member of your house. Nothing is certain, but it helps.

It's meant for your opponent not to see it so that they can't game the system, and for the narrator to look at it and ensure that there are no shenanigans. First person declares a maneuver (strength 1 or 2) first via preferred method (PM or house/personal forum), for the narrator to see (I am sure our new narrator will go through and check at some point). Then the opponent rolls and puts their chosen maneuver in the description for the roll in Orokos, the same as you have been already when entering "coldbrook tourney AK II charge". You would do the same when rolling. We wouldn't know our opponents' maneuvers until we saw the description.

Simple, consolidated description for that input field: "vs [insert name here], Pass 1 [maneuver 1-2]". Not trying to convert you, honest! But the maneuver at least is important, as is the strength of said maneuver (1 or 2). It's literally just adding 1-2 to one thing and taking the same away from another, as stated for each maneuver.

Have you looked at the maneuvers in the sourcebook? It can be a little confusing. I always open up the document to check and make sure I'm using the right term (aggressive, braced, etc).

Alternatively, we can ditch maneuvers for R3, but they will come into play when facing opponents on the actual NC list and onwards, especially vs players.
