[Dunstan Tullison]

Dunstan walked in the party with the usual cackle of guards around him.
He wore a dark blue doublet with a red jewel pinned at his chest, and a velvet cloak that fell all the way to the ground. Black mask with a long thin nose covered his face, he thought it was hilarious.
The guards all had the same masks as the young Lord, and instead their usual armor and spears, they had short swords and wore simple but fine clothes with the sigil of House Tullison.

[Septon Arlyn]

After he had finished with his conversation with Hubert, Septon Arlyn set out to find Ruben Piper. He looked around the room thinking, This is a man whom has much wealth and knows it. He wants everyone else to know it as well. I imagine that he must be dressed in something splendid this evening to show off his greatness and mastery of the markets.

As the Septon looked around a server came by with a platter full large sticks of roasted meat skewered. Don't mind if I take two the Septon thought as he glanced greedily at the rich dish. As he tore into the meat with his teeth he noticed a man in a fine peacocks outfit, surrounded by people whom were attending to his needs. This I think must be my man. As The septon approached he waited politely until the merchant acknowledged him and came forward with humility. "
Good evening, I am Septon Arlyn of house dulver, I was wondering if you had a moment to speak about a mater of business."
The fine man acknowledged that he did, his hands coming together in glee over the chance to make a deal.

When the herald announced Kevan's arrival, he answerer with a laugh. That man is a genius, or is it he had seen his fair share of horrible costumes at these Bartheld parties to cover it up so well?

He grabs two crabmeat pies from a waiter's plate and made them disappear in the dark opening of his hood. He made his way through the dancing crowd towards Ser Jon.
"
Great Beast of the Woods, here is a white walker that would like to thank you for the invitation to this nice party!"

"
Well, you are a bold one, oh master of the bedsheets, to disturb the bear in his lair!"
Jon rumbles with mock hostility. "
But on behalf of House Bartheld, I bid you welcome anyway, good Ser. To what do I owe the honor of your attention?"


So Spake Herald Harlan
Herald Harlan raises a single sceptical eyebrow at the next guest to arrive, a tall, lean man in a simply beastly mask. "
Gentle sirs and ladies fair, House Bartheld is pleased to extend its fabled hospitality to one and all this fine evening, even unto a...umm...Small But Vicious Dog?"


Athelstan and his lady companion receive less embarrassing titles from the harried herald. "
...welcomes the Sea Hawk and his fair companion, Ladyhawke!"


Undeterred by the widely differing quality in the guests' costumes, Herald Harlan announces Ser Jorah. "
My lords Bartheld, a visitor from distant lands, the Cockatrice of Gargalen...who appears to have brought his own food,"
he finishes with an unsubtle nod to the black snake.

And finally, Dunstan and his guards find themselves introduced as "
...a murder of crows, or is it mosquitoes, descends upon House Bartheld's feast! Nay, they are neither, but not even the Maesters could tell what manner of beasts these are, so House Bartheld welcomes instead Lord Longsnout and his doppelgangers!"


Jon (again)
When the herald announces the arrival of the Sea Hawk and Ladyhawke, Jon's eyes snap towards the entrance of the pavilion.

A silver hawk mask! An argent bird! Is it her? But who is that with her?! His fist tightens involuntarily around the goblet as a feeling of bitter disappointment wells up inside him. Of course she came with someone else, you stupid oaf. You didn't really think she'd be interested in lowborn scum like you? She's just been stringing you along for shits-and-giggles...

Ben turned to look behind him to see who Dunstan was speaking to. While Ben looks around at a loss, Ellie punches him in his ribs. "

Ben turns around a little embarrassed at missing it. "
Ah, yes. That may take some getting used to. Good evening to you, my lord."

[Benedict Marsten]

After Dunstan moves on with his swarm, Ben scans the crowd for the seahawk. Once he finds him he turns to Corrine. "
My Lady, I must see a man about a horse. If you would prefer to not accompany me I understand."

He and I have made our peace, so it would not be a terrible situation for me, but I do not think it necessary for me to be there. It is between you two. On you go. Ellie and I will be hunting for wild lemon cakes,"
she added, with a grin."

He grins like a fool and shakes his head. "
Remember lemon cakes don't count as big game so no arrows. I will see you two beautiful Ladies in a moment."
He departs to speak with Athlestan.

Ellie turns to Corrine. "
Are we really looking for lemon cakes? Or is this some sort of lovie dovie talk. Cause I really like lemon cakes and if you are messing around I am going to be very disappointed."
He put her hands on her hips.

She gestured for them to go round each of the servants milling around, to inspect the various trays in search of their sweet, citrussy prey.

Hearing Jons name septon arlyn looks around the crowd and sees a women in a horse costume talking to the "
white walker"
and the man whom must be Jon,

Well after they finish their conversation I will have to go over and speak with him about making some acquaintances."


The septon, feeling so full that he can not stuff another bite into him, decides to sit down on a bench and take a rest, sipping on some grape juice and hoping not to have a horrible hangover the next day.

[Kevan Lyras]

, Kevan mumbles, when Loreia introduces the man in the bear costume. Despite his conceiling hood, he seems slightly embarassed at the mocking comments regarding his costume, but he recovers quickly.

Serves you just right, fool. You could have gone to the market and buy a mask, like everybody else...

Thank you Ser, it was a pity that you had to forfeit your match! Yes, yes, the boasting, I hope I have not offended you, to me these type of events are mostly entertainment for the masses and my words were chosen accordingly."

And hopefully he forgets you took a shot at the fighers from the stepstones...

As for my skills with a blade, I'd like to say I am capable, though I surprised myself with my success in the joust, so I cannot expect to have equal success in the melee. I tried to recruit our young companion here"

[Theomore Tullison]

Theomore had called upon the expertise of a friend to make himself appear unrecognizable to all but the most observant of participants. Though it was not exactly a closely guarded secret that he owned a winter surcoat won from Lord Jon Florent in a game six years ago, much less widely known was the fact that Lord Jon had been much too drunk to count his dice properly, but he had not used it here at Riverrun, so it should work against most. Made out of orange fox fur, it went well with Theomore's elaborate mask of similar coloration, fashioned in the likeness of the clever animal. Lady Yve had heartily agreed with Raff that the appearance suited him well. Though it was a wee bit hot under all the fur of the coat and the matching cap, something Theo compensated for by covering the legs with nothing but red sand silk, he was still sweating some, but some things are worth enduring for.

[Athelstan]

The silver hawks decide to take a break from dancing and go find themselves some refreshments, with a familiar voice calling for Athelstan when he found his chance to interrupt them "
Ser Benedict, how are you doing tonight?"
knowing the outfit long before the man wore it, so he knew who was behind the mask.

"
This is lady Elize"
Athelstan presents her companion.

"
Pleased to meet you Ser Benedict"
a small bow towards him and now Ser Benedict finds himself being stared out in an almost glare by two hawks

What can I do for you?"

[Benedict Marsten]

Ben nods to Athlestan and bows to the Lady Elise. He pauses curiously at Athlestan ease at recognizing him, but shakes it off. "
Good evening my Lady, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I hate to intrude on your evening, but if I may have a moment to speak business with your escort. I will be in need of my armor for the melee and my horse because the old girl has been a good companion."


He looks to Athlestan. "
Name your price, Ironborn champion."
His words are not said in malice, but a begrudging respect.

[Athelstan]

If only I was the champion, but Ser Bryndon hit me like a battering ram, and I was lcuky enough to make it this far, lord Mallister was a tough man to beat"

Ben winced slightly. "

He laughs. "
But as I said I am in need. I will pay you what you ask if only because you did not attempt to kiss my arse by giving them back or offend me with a lower cost."
Thank the gods he didn't make this difficult nor to easy and cause me to worry.

Turning to the lady he speaks softly. "
He drives a hard bargain. I would hate to see the man he gets over on for the daughters dowry."
He smiles jokingly.

[Athelstan]

Athelstan almost chokes on his food for a second and she blushes and giggles not sure how to react "
I should have asked for more, you accepted to fast"
with a wide grin "
Well, I will meet you tomorrow morning then for the exchange and maybe some breakfast, if you want to bring some company"
looking back at her she nods "
Is this acceptable?"

[Yoren longshore]

Yoren walks over to Athelstan as he stands with Benedict, hoping to find a place where his presence will be less conspicuous.
"
Good evening to all of you, Benedict, i believe we have met briefly? And I am sure Athelstan will reveal who you are my lady."
Yoren bows quicly to the lady before he rises.

[Benedict Marsten]

Aye, tomorrow will be fine. Breakfast"
he nods hesitantly. "

He smiles his hesitation forgotten.

At Yoren's appearance Ben bows. "
Lord Yoren. Yes we met at your camp a few nights ago. I was accompanying Lord Dunstan."
Has it only been a few days. I seems like an eternity.

I was impressed by your horsemanship out there, although I must admit I did not have time to see all of your tilts..."
Yoren smiles, clapping Ben on the shoulder.

[Dyana Marsten]

Another couple arrives, arm-in-arm. While the man is finely dressed, bearing a mask of a white raven of remarkable quality, the lady at his side catches the eye far more readily.

Dyana stands a few inches taller than her partner, dressed in a low cut gown of ivory samite and cloth-of-silver. A tight-laced bodice is partially covered with an ornate, nearly glittering dove-grey Myrish lace, and long silvery sleeves descend from bared shoulders. The sleeves feat neatly and tightly around the skin, outlining her arms until half the length of her hands.

Her mask is even more impressive. The argent semblance of an eagle covers the top half of her face, the cunning eyeholes of the mask showing the woman's own green eyes beneath, and the beak covering her nose and lowering slightly. Her full rose lips and chin are in full view, and a mane of feathers protude from the top of the mask and around her face, covering most of the back of her head as if it were her hair.

A brooch is set upon the left side of her dress, between her breast and shoulder. It is the shape of a fierce-looking eagle with emerald eyes, much like her own mask, though it is golden rather than silvery. Clutched in its claws are a sword and two batons with cloisonné garnet inlays.

She glances to her companion with an eager smile, and her eyes race through the many delights scattered throughout the party. "
Where should we start, then?"
